Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I'm here participating with a ton of other designs for the Sunny Studio Stamps 2nd Birthday Blog Hop! I'm so honoured to have been on this team for the past year and a half and so thankful to Mendi for having me on this amazing team. I love working with you, the team and your stamps!
Before we get into the card I made, here are some details on the hop.
I will be having a $25 gift certificate as well as every other designer on this blog hop, so make sure you don't miss any stops and you leave a comment on everyones blogs! (To be entered, tell me what your favourite stamp/die set is from the release!) I will be picking a winner before Monday the 25th at 11:59 pm PDT and then Mendi will reveal the winners on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog on Friday the 29th.
Also in honour of Sunny Studio's 2nd birthday, all the products from this release will be available for pre-order as of right now. And also, if that's not enough - we will be offering 15% off on all retail orders in the shop using the code "CELEBRATE" through October 1st. Yay!
I stamped the images from the Jolly Gingerbread stamp set onto some watercolour cardstock and watercoloured all my images in with Zig Clean Color Watercolour Markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I used some 2" masking tape and cut it at a curve, adhered it down to some watercolour cardstock and blended some tumbled glass and broken china over top for the sky. I then removed the positive mask, and added on the negative piece. I then blended some pumice stone distress ink on the bottom, just so it wasn't a stark white.
Once I finished the background I stamped the sentiment with some more black ink from the Jolly Gingerbread set and then adhered my images on top with foam tape and liquid glue.
To finish up I adhered my panel onto some Perfectly Plaid Christmas patterned paper from Lawn Fawn and then onto my card base and that finished up my card.
Hi everyone, Eloise here for Craftie Cafe and today I'm making a Birthday Invitation using some Taylored Expressions products. I'll be using the Make A Wish, RSVP and Eventful stamp along with Lawn Fawn inks to create my invites today.
I started off with first using the Streamers embossing folder by Taylored Expressions to dry emboss a piece of lavender cardstock, once that was run through I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock with a stitched rectangle die using my Big Shot. Then I stamped my 'it's a birthday party' wording on the bottom with black ink.
Next up it was time to stamp my candles. I used five colours of Lawn Fawn ink to stamp each of the candles and flame images using some selective inking and masking to be able to stamp both the candle and flame at the same time as they are connected on the stamp. Once I stamped those out I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them onto my panel with foam tape and adhered the panel onto my embossed piece.
I then cut down another piece of white cardstock to adhere to the back of my panel. I then used my MISTI stamping tool to stamp the 'You're invited' from the Eventful stamp set and also the RSVP stamp onto the back as well. I used Celery Stick ink for the top and black ink for the message/memo area. I then adhered this piece to the back of my invitation and it was complete.
Hi friends, today I'm here to share three cards I made with the new Pretty Pink Posh and Simon Says Stamp Stamptemeber stamp set! It's called Damask Greetings and it's very different for Pretty Pink Posh, but I think it's super unique and people are gonna love it! The stamp set is now available over at Simon Says Stamp but be aware, the same with all collaboration sets for Stamptember, there is a limited number of them.
Below are three cards I made with the set!
For this first card, I used a emboss resist technique and used my MISTI to repeatedly stamp the same line of designs several time, then water-coloured over the top to create a rainbow card. I white heat embossed the 'Thank You' sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock, adhered it down to the panel and then the panel onto a card base and that was the first card complete.
For this second card, I went with a aqua to mint colour combo. I clear heat embossed some of the images in a diagonal line and then water-coloured over top to create the resist once again. I then white heat embossed the 'Thinking Of You' sentiment onto some grey cardstock and adhered it onto my card. I also used some Audrey Blue cardstock as a card base and adhered my panel on top.
For this third card, I was completely inspired by a design I saw online. I wanted the navy blue background with gold embossing. I didn't have any navy blue cardstock - so I made my own with watercolours. I gold heat embossed the images, then water-coloured over top. I wish it turned out darker, but it's fine. I then gold heat embossed my sentiment onto a small strip of navy blue cardstock and adhered it to my panel. I then used a small left over strip of the same blue cardstock, adhered it to my card base and then adhered my panel over top.
There is a video down below sharing the full details of each card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll catch you all next time.
