You're One Of A Kind (Video)

Hi everyone, I'm back with another card and video today featuring the newish Magical Unicorns stamp set along with a few dies by My Favorite Things and Mama Elephant.

To begin my card today I stamped out all of my images from the Magical Unicorns stamp set by My Favourite Things with my MISTI. I then coloured them all in using Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut all the images out also. I then die cut out some more items, I cut out the white panel from the Index Card Dies from Mama Elephant and then three cloud borders from the Landscape Trio set by Mama Elephant also. Once those were die cut out I cut out my rainbow piece, but before running it through I put some double sided adhesive on the back of the watercolour paper and then ran it through. Now it was time to ink blend. I used 6 colours of Distress Ink to blend my rainbow together - Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. I then took my white stitched panel and blended on some Tumbled Glass.

Now I started to adhere my card together. I adhered all three cloud pieces onto the blue blended piece and ran it back through my big shot so the stitching would be consistent. I then adhered my rainbow on top of the background - which was super easy because of the adhesive on the back. I then used foam adhesive to adhere my images onto the scene also.

I then stamped out the sentiment on a Ripe Raspberry strip of cardstock and white heat embossed it. I then adhered that with foam tape also. I needed something to break up the white on white effect so I die cut out the scalloped panel from the Index Card die set from Mama Elephant with some Desert Storm cardstock from Neenah and then adhered my panel on top flat. I also used some fun foam on the back of the panel to pop it up from the card base. Which is a 4" x 5 1/2" card base that I made from Neenah cardstock. For a finishing touch I used my Clear Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle and the card was complete.

(I now try to link to products I use to Australian stores too. Most items I buy are from Simon Says Stamp which is located in America. But I know that not all people want to purchase overseas, so I now link to Scrapbook Boutique and Craft Online for Copic Markers so that you can buy here too. Not all products are linked to both stores because Australian stores don't always stock all the products I use. But hopefully this helps out a bit! Waving Hello (Video)

Hi everyone, I'm back with another card today using the new to me Mijello Misson Gold Watercolours along with the new Mermaid For You stamp set by Lawn Fawn!

To begin my card today I stamped out all the images I wanted to use from the Mermaid For You stamp set along with a couple extra images from the Fintastic Friends stamp set also by Lawn Fawn since I wanted them to be open, not solid. Once stamped with my Mini MISTI I embossed with clear embossing powder and watercoloured in all the images using my Mijello Misson Gold Watercolours. Once coloured, I die cut them out using the coordinating dies and set them aside.

For my background I used the Snow Drifts Cover Up Die by My Favorite things and die cut it out of some Neenah Solar White Cardstock and Canson Watercolour Cardstock. I took the pieces out of the watercolour cardstock piece and coloured them individually with various Distress Inks. I then used the water flicking technique to make it look like bubbles in the ocean. I then used the frame from the Neenah one and adhered it to a piece of printer paper and then I was able to adhere the rest of the inside pieces with ease. I used foam and liquid adhesive to adhere all my images onto my background and stamped the sentiment with some black ink. For the last bits I adhered my panel onto some fun foam and then onto my Neenah Desert Storm cardbase I created and added some Wink of Stella in the clear to my images also.
